A Christmas Carol
by
Charles Dickens

This year we are charging £5 per ticket to better keep track of who is attending.  All the takings from the Salvation Army will go to the Salvation Army charity and all the takings from the Pavilion will go to the NSPCC as usual.  You can pay by bank transfer into the Fellowship account, or with cash at the AGM.  All reserved tickets must be paid for before the event.  Of course, you can get tickets from Willow Fabrics too.

Over the last year there has been a slight change in the style of the Declaimers performances, moving away a little from plain reading to a slightly more animated performance.   Indeed the ‘Eatonswill Election’ featured audience participation which the St Peter’s Ladies, in particular, joined in with great gusto!  This has proved more fun for both the Declaimers and audiences.

Yes, we all know ‘A Christmas Carol’ but it’s one of those things that just makes Christmas and gets it off to a good and heart-warming start!  It’s a wonderful story from the pen of Charles Dickens, let’s enjoy it together!
